Samsung Galaxy S26: Google Scam Detection, four colors and high-strength Gorilla Glass
According to a new report based on the code of the Phone by Google app, Google’s fraud detection will be integrated into the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, which is scheduled for its official launch next month.

Fraud detection with integrated Gemini Nano AI was previously exclusive to the Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 series, available only in Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, the UK, and the US. There is another version that is not based on the Gemini model but on in-device machine learning. This version also works on the Pixel 6 , Pixel 7 and Pixel 8.
The code of the Phone by Google app contains references to model numbers of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series in the dialer (SM-S942 is the S26, SM-S947 the S26+, and SM-S948 the S26 Ultra). The fraud detection feature is codenamed “sharpie” and can be found in the last line of code at the top.
The interesting thing is that Samsung smartphones don’t use the Google Phone app. While it can be installed from the Play Store, it’s unclear whether it receives the necessary permissions to use the device’s internal AI, as it’s not a system app. Of course, there’s another possibility: Samsung could switch to the Google Phone app with the release of One UI 8.5, which will debut on the Galaxy S26 family. Time will tell.
Finnish retailer leaks color and storage options for Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26
A Finnish online retailer has published the storage and color options of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series, as well as their model numbers. SuomiMobility, who discovered this information, did not reveal the name of the dealer, therefore there are no screenshots.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be available in black, white, sky blue, and cobalt purple. You can choose between 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB of storage. There will also be an Enterprise Edition, but only in one model number: black with 256 GB of storage.
According to the last S26 Ultra-Leak there were supposedly going to be more than four colors: black, white, cobalt purple, sky blue, silver shadow, and rose gold. It’s possible that this Finnish retailer, or the EU market in general, won’t receive all the color options. Also, there are usually some colors that are exclusive to Samsung.com. The same thing happened last year with the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the color options jade green and titanium rose gold.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26+ will be available in the same four colors: black, white, sky blue, and cobalt purple. For some inexplicable reason, only the standard model will be available as an Enterprise Edition – also in black with 256 GB of storage. Incidentally, the standard Galaxy S26 will no longer be available with 128 GB of storage, in case you were wondering about the 256 GB. Furthermore, it’s hardly surprising that no Edge or Pro model are included in the list.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra already features an anti-reflective coating, largely eliminating the need for matte screen protectors. Rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will add a privacy display function, making privacy screen protectors unnecessary. However, according to another recent leak, the display itself will also have improved protection.
According to the well-known leaker Ice Universe Samsung will reportedly use a new, particularly durable Gorilla Glass. According to the tip, this new, high-strength Gorilla Glass could completely eliminate the need for a tempered glass screen protector.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be released next month and will feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset It will be equipped.
