Apple iPhone 17 Pro comes in the new color Sky Blue
The Apple iPhone 17 Pro series is expected to get a new color option called Sky Blue. The news comes from tipster Majin Bu, who has a solid track record with Apple phones.
According to the leak, the upcoming color option for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will resemble the sky blue MacBook Air M4, which launched last month. According to “sources close to the supply chain,” Apple has already built prototypes of the new iPhones in the new color.
The MacBook Air’s Sky Blue finish isn’t very saturated, and the color appearance can vary depending on the lighting conditions. Apple describes it as “a beautiful, metallic light blue that creates a dynamic gradient of color when light reflects off its surface.”
Apple has opted for muted colors with its recent titanium iPhone Pro models and introduced the new Desert Titanium color for the iPhone 16 Pro, which is also available in Natural Titanium, White Titanium, and Black Titanium. A second rendering (above right) shows what the Apple iPhone 17 Pro would look like in Desert Titanium.
Majin Bu announced the “Desert Titanium” color name for the iPhone 16 Pro models seven months before launch. However, some of his information was incorrect, including a rumor about an upcoming 11-inch iPad in 2023.
The new color option would be a welcome alternative. Apple hasn’t released a light blue iPhone Pro model since 2021, when we got the iPhone 13 Pro series in Sierra Blue.
