vivo T4x with 50 MP camera and large battery is here

The vivo T4x was launched in India today, just as the company promised last week. It’s a budget smartphone with a pretty big battery as its main selling point. It’s powered by a Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage.

The T4x is based on a 6.72-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,050 nits of peak brightness. On the back is a 50 MP main camera, which is only accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor. Instead of a flash, however, there is a dynamic light circle that can act as a notification light or provide more light for portrait photos. The selfie camera is 8 MP and is located behind a punch hole.
The battery capacity of the vivo T4x is 6,500 mAh, which is a first for the vivo T series. But even that aside, phones with that much capacity are hard to come by. Moreover, the T4x is the first phone outside China to have such a large battery. The cell supports 44W wired charging.
The IP64 standard ensures protection against water and dust ingress, but there is also MIL-STD-810H certification in case you want to go to war with the T4x. Along with Android 15, Funtouch 15 is also built in, and there is support for two nano-SIM cards but no microSD card. The device is available in two colors – Pronto Purple and Marine Blue.
