Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro with Dimensity chips and triple cameras unveiled

Xiaomi’s new flagship killer series is here – say hello to the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro. The pair strictly follows the DNA of the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro with 6.67-inch 144 Hz displays. but significantly increase the maximum brightness to 4,000 nits. There are also triple cameras, 5,000 mAh batteries and Dimensity chipsets from MediaTek.

Xiaomi 14T Pro

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is the more powerful of the two new models. It is powered by a Dimensity 9300+ chip, one of the fastest processors currently on the market. This is ensured by the 3.4 GHz Cortex-X4 Prime Core, an Immortalis G720 MC12 GPU and 12 GB or 16 GB RAM.

The 5,000 mAh battery charges with up to 120 watts via cable and 50 watts wirelessly.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro also has a larger 1/1.31 inch Light Fusion 900 sensor under its 50 megapixel main camera. There is also a 23 mm lens with an aperture of f/1.6. There is also a 12 MP ultra-wide cam with a 15 mm f/2.2 lens and a 60 mm f/2.0 zoom camera with 50 megapixels on board.

Xiaomi 14T

The Xiaomi 14T has the same 6.67 inch AMOLED display with 2,712 x 1,220 pixels, 144 Hz and a brightness of 4,000 nits. The battery is also the same size at 5,000 mAh, but only charges via cable and only at 67 watts. The 23 mm main camera with f/1.7 aperture uses a smaller 1/1.56 inch IMX906 sensor, but the resolution is identical at 50 MP. The telephoto lens also gets a small downgrade to 50 mm and f/1.9 aperture, but also remains at the 50 MP of the Pro. The 15 mm f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera appears to be identical.

The chipset used is a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra, one of the fastest processors in the mid-range.

Both Xiaomi phones have an IP68 rating for protection against water and dust. However, while the 14T Pro has a slightly curved back, the 14T is flat. In addition, both models rely on Xiaomi’s HyperOS based on Android 14 with Advanced AI and Google’s integrated Gemini and Circle to Search.

The Xiaomi 14T is available in titanium gray, titanium blue, titanium black and a synthetic leather option in lemon green. The 12/256 GB model is available from 650 euros. The 14T Pro is available in titanium gray, titanium blue and titanium black from 800 € with 12/256 GB. Pre-orders are already underway, while shipping will start in a few days. In Germany, the 1 TB model is available for the price of the basic model until September 30th.
