Each Pokémon has its favorite flavors in Pokopia, and it is important to know which foods fit into which categories if you want to feed picky Pokémon and improve the environmental quality throughout the world.

Some Pokémon beg for any food and are happy with anything you offer them. Others, however, specifically crave something spicy or bitter, and only the appropriate foods will satisfy them. For such cases, this Pokopia feeding guide is very helpful.
All Pokémon Pokopia flavors and basic food items
There are six different Pokopia flavors, and each of the berries, vegetables, and other ingredients belongs to a specific flavor profile. If a Pokémon asks for a particular flavor, you need to give it food from that category, which isn’t always as obvious as you might think.

To help you, here you will find all Pokopia types and the basic ingredients that match their profile:
- Neutral Leppa Berry
- Lumberry
- Watermelon [DLC]
- Bitter rawberry
- Potato
- algae
- Sea Grapes [DLC]
- Dried Chesto berry
- Wheat
- Mushrooms
- Sweet peach berry
- bean
- Sour asparagine berry
- tomato
- Spicy Carrot
Dishes prepared with these ingredients will also fit the above-mentioned taste profiles, but the cheapest and most resource-efficient way to satisfy Pokémon’s hunger is to use the basic ingredients listed above.
Mosslax offers

Once you’ve awakened Mosslax in Pokopia, you can place offerings at its shrine to increase your rewards. For example, offering dry food will grant you more Ho-Oh and Lugia feathers. You can offer Mosslax food once per day, but the effects only last for that day. These are the best food items for the respective rewards:
- Neutral: Increases friendship with other Pokémon faster. Hearty Hamburger Steak: Mix beans, potatoes, lettuce, and any other ingredients in a pan.
- Bitter: Increases the chance of finding rare items. Bitter Hamburger Steak: Combine one bean, one Rawst berry, one Lum berry, and any other ingredient in a pan.
- Dry: Increased sightings of Lugia and Ho-Oh. Crushed Berry Salad: Mix a leaf and a Chesto Berry on a cutting board while a Pokémon with the special move “Crush” is present.
- Sweet: Facilitates the discovery of ancient artifacts. Fluffy bread: Combine wheat, a pecha berry, and any other ingredient in the oven.
- Sour: Improved broth is available commercially. Tasty soup: Place fresh water, an Aspergillus berry, and any hamburger steak in a saucepan.
- Spicy: Increases the likelihood of Pokémon appearing in their habitats. Crouton Salad: Mix one leaf and any bread on a cutting board.
With this knowledge, you can increase your rewards and ensure your Pokémon are happy and well-fed. If you want to improve the Pokémon houses and thus the entire Pokopia environment, but need further tips, you can find all the necessary information in our Pokopia Pokédex overview.
