Microsoft is raising Xbox prices again. The company had already increased prices in May of last year and then again in October.

This time, the company is increasing the prices of the 512GB models by $100 and the 1TB models by $150. The 2TB model is no longer available. The current prices are as follows.

Microsoft Xbox pricing

Microsoft Xbox ModelNew pricesOld prices
Series S (512 GB)$499$399
Series S (1 TB)$599$449
Series X Digital (1 TB)$749$599
Series X (1 TB)$799$649

The company cites rising RAM and storage prices as the reason. However, it fails to mention that these prices are driven by the demand from AI data centers – a situation for which the company itself is at least partially responsible due to its aggressive market presence.

At least the Microsoft consoles are still cheaper than the new Steam Machine. And they even comes with a controller.
