PlayStation Plus April 2026 freebies: Tomb Raider and Lords of the Fallen
PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive the free Essential games Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream in April 2026, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on Wednesday. The three games for PlayStation consoles can be downloaded from Tuesday, April 7th.
Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered
Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered unites the first three Lara Croft action-adventure games in a beautifully redesigned collection. In our review, we praised the remastering work by Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics, highlighting the improved graphics, modernized (optional) controls, and classic level design. Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered is available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Lords of the Fallen
Lords of the Fallen is the 2023 action role-playing game—not to be confused with the 2014 game of the same name—from developer Hexworks and publisher CI Games. Players take on the role of a Dark Crusader who must travel through the realms of the living and the dead to defeat Adyr, a cruel tyrant who has ravaged humanity. While Lords of the Fallen is carefully crafted in terms of pacing and difficulty, it is unnecessarily restrictive at times. Lords of the Fallen will be available for PlayStation 5.
Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream
Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream is the latest installment in the Sword Art Online series, developed by Dimps Corporation and published by Bandai Namco. This multiplayer action RPG features 21 playable characters from various Sword Art Online storylines who can team up in online co-op mode to defeat powerful bosses. Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream is available for PS5.
The PS Plus Essential games for April 2026 are available for download until May 4th. Accordingly, PS Plus subscribers can download the PlayStation Plus Essential games for March 2026 – PGA Tour 2K25, Monster Hunter Rise, Slime Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road – until April 6th.
