Epic Games Store Freebies: Havendock and Hyper Echelon

The Epic Games Store offers its users a few free PC games every week, and the selection always offers a diverse mix of different genres.

This week, Epic users can claim a cozy ocean simulation called Havendock and a retro shooter in a space setting called Hyper Echelon for free.

Havendock

Havendock is a cozy simulation where you build a colony on the sea. You create your character, build a city from scratch (or rather, flood it), and take care of your fellow colonists. Breed animals, grow crops, invent technological devices, explore the underwater world, and much more. On Steam, a competitor of Epic Games, Havendock has over 1,400 reviews and a “Very Positive” rating.

Hyper Echelon

Retro shoot-’em-ups like Minishoot Adventures are always a blast, and you can download one for free from Epic. In Hyper Echelon you’ll fight against an evil alien army from a top-down perspective. Control and upgrade your small space fighter across 10 different worlds and four different game modes, including a boss rush mode and survival missions. Grab a friend and join in, as Hyper Echelon supports local co-op for two players.

If Havendock and Hyper Echelon have piqued your interest, simply log in to the Epic Games Store and claim them. They are available for free until Thursday, April 2nd, at 11:00 AM EDT.

At the beginning of March, Epic Games already gave away Electrician Simulator and DLC for World of Warships, Cozy Grove and Isonzo, as well as free content for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank.
