Call of Duty Mobile celebrates its sixth birthday with a wealth of new content. While Black Ops 7 continues to feature themed Operator skins, Season 11 of Call of Duty Mobile offers a major crossover with Street Fighter. Players can transform into the popular fighting characters and use their iconic combat techniques. The new season also includes a DMZ extraction mode, new unlockable gear, and special events.

Details on the launch date of Call of Duty Mobile Season 11

Season 11 launches on December 11 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET. This new season includes a brand-new Battle Pass with free and premium items.

Details on the Battle Pass

Highlights of the free Battle Pass tiers include the SO-14 sniper rifle and the Wheelson HS scorestreak. In addition, there are weapon blueprints, skins, and other cosmetic items that can be unlocked for free.

In the premium tiers, the Battle Pass offers the “Mauy Claus” Santa Claus Operator skin for Ajax and the “Iron Kata” skin for Sparrowhawk. It also includes festive weapon blueprints for the Krig 6 assault rifle, the CBR4 submachine gun, and the new SO-14 sniper rifle.

New Events

New Events allow players to earn Street Fighter-inspired rewards and other cosmetic items from secret caches. Each secret cache contains a random reward and can be earned through various events throughout the season. Four containers are available daily as login rewards and through various events.

Season 11 also offers sixth-anniversary rewards in two separate events. These rewards include items such as weapon blueprints, calling cards, weapon charms, and more.

Additionally, there will be holiday events throughout the season where players can earn festive cosmetic items.

Street Fighter LTMs

While Activision is foregoing elaborate skins in Black Ops 7, it continues to rely on large crossovers with other franchises in Call of Duty Mobile. Season 11 is all about Street Fighter, offering new challenges and limited-time game modes inspired by the characters of the legendary fighting game.

In multiplayer, Shoryu and Hadoken is a limited-time mode available on select maps. Scorestreaks are disabled in this mode, and players start the match using only the Prize Fighter gloves as their melee weapon and with increased jump height, reflecting the fighting style of Street Fighter.

Players engage in close combat, filling up a Fury Gauge until they have enough to transform into either Hidora Kai (Ryu) or Shigenori (Akuma). Ryu’s moveset includes his classic Hadoken projectile ability and his powerful wave fist attack, Shinku Hadoken. Akuma’s fighting style is based on the Shoryuken upward slash and the Shun Goku Satsu. The first player to achieve enough eliminations wins.

Battle Royale also features a limited-time Street Fighter mode. Here, players can find holograms of four different Street Fighter characters on the “Isolated” map. By interacting with the holograms of Ryu, Akuma, Chun-Li, and Cammy, players gain their unique abilities and can activate special attacks in battle.

DMZ Recon Mode

Call of Duty Mobile introduces a new extraction mode called DMZ Recon, inspired by the DMZ from Modern Warfare 2. This mode includes the brand-new Serpent Island map, a sprawling map with multiple zones and landmarks inspired by popular Call of Duty maps. Players must land there, collect loot, and then extract it to keep their equipment.

Building 21 from MW2 DMZ also returns. This map is entirely indoors and spans three floors. Compared to the larger Serpent Island map, it offers a faster pace and more close-quarters action.

In addition, DMZ Recon offers new challenges and over 20 more camouflage patterns to unlock for Call of Duty Mobile.
