The worst-kept Fortnite secret—the upcoming Simpsons season, whose origins were leaked back in the spring – is drawing ever closer, and Epic Games is now officially teasing it. But there’s still some time in Chapter 6, Season 4, and the last full season of Chapter 6 is ending with a bang. This weekend, we’re getting a live event in Fortnite Battle Royale that will kick off the Simpsons season. Here you’ll find everything you need to know about Fortnite’s next big live event.
When does the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 finale live event take place?
The live event starts on Saturday, November 1st at 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET. That’s three hours earlier than usual, so plan accordingly. After the event, Fortnite will go offline for maintenance to install the season update.
When does the Fortnite Simpsons season start?
Epic Games plans to launch the new season on Saturday evening at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET. Fortnite is expected to be offline for approximately five hours. However, this launch time is not final – the launch may be earlier or later depending on how the maintenance progresses.
How do I participate in the Simpsons live event?
There will be no confusion about how to participate in the event on Saturday, as when the event starts at 11:00 AM ET, it will be the only mode available in Fortnite. However, it’s recommended to start early in case there are login wait times.
Teaser for the Fortnite Season Finale
Epic and The Simpsons have both started teasing the event with a short video showing Simpson versions of Jonesy and Hope being kidnapped by Kang and Kodos.

What happens during the event?
While we don’t yet know any concrete details about what will happen during the event, since the season’s final story quest hinted at the recently constructed Treehouse of Horrors on the island’s edge, it’s likely to take place there.
However, the live event isn’t just a teaser for the Simpsons season. It also marks the end of the story from Chapter 6 of Season 4, in which a horde of insects invaded the island before we drove them off with the Megazord—and then Doja Cat and Jason Voorhees showed up. So, while we know the event will bring The Simpsons into the game, we don’t yet know much about how to get there.
Will there be rewards for participating in the Fortnite x Simpsons event?
Nothing has been announced yet, but it’s likely that everyone who logs in for the event on Saturday will receive one or two free items.
