Lenovo Legion Go 2 with AMD Ryzen Z2 and 74 Wh battery is here
As expected, Lenovo unveiled its second-generation Legion Go gaming handheld at IFA Berlin. The Lenovo Legion Go 2 is visually similar to last year’s Legion Go, but offers several improvements, including a new processor and a larger battery.
The Lenovo Legion Go 2 is available with either the AMD Ryzen Z2 or Z2 Extreme processor and the AMD Radeon 890M GPU. It can be combined with up to 32 GB of 8,000 MHz RAM and up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. A microSD card slot allows for memory expansion.
Lenovo’s new handheld features an 8.8-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a variable refresh rate of 30 to 144 Hz. The display offers 500 nits of brightness and is HDR TrueBlack 1000 certified.
The Legion Go 2 also features a larger 74 Whr battery compared to the original Legion Go, which featured a 49.2 Whr cell.
In addition, there is now a fingerprint scanner in the power button, two USB 4 ports with Power Delivery 4.0 support, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It also features two 2-watt speakers, two microphones, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.
Lenovo Legion Go 2 Prices
The Legion Go 2 is also heavier at 1079 g. It will be available in select markets this month at a starting price of €999.
