Sony PlayStation 5 Pro now available (almost) worldwide for €800
The Sony PlayStation 5 Pro was already unveiled at a big event in September and is now finally available worldwide. Or let’s say almost worldwide. There are still countries where the game console and successor to the regular PS5 and PS5 Slim is not available for sale. The most notable missing market is probably India.
Here is Sony’s official opinion on the matter: “The PS5 Pro will not be available in some countries (which currently includes India) where the 6 GHz wireless band used in IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) is not yet permitted.” So that’s where the rub lies – there are currently hardware issues in India.
Everywhere else you can now put €799.99 or $699.99 on the table and play like crazy. Or, if you have $999.99 to spare, you can get the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle. It is “limited” to 12,300 individually numbered units with a special design inspired by the original PlayStation from 1994.
