Netflix is offering free trial subscriptions again.
Netflix is once again offering free trial periods. These last between 7 and 30 days, depending on the user and location. Those who visit the site in incognito mode or delete their cookies beforehand may receive the full 30 days. Oddly, the US and UK appear to be excluded from this offer for unknown reasons.
Many users have to select a plan during the trial period – this will then be automatically charged after the trial period ends. For example, you can choose the most expensive premium plan, which includes 4K HDR streaming.
It’s unclear what prompted Netflix to change its mind. The company had recently focused on maximizing revenue from its users, including through multiple price increases and strict measures against password sharing. However, this approach doesn’t appear to have yielded the desired results.
