Ted Lasso Season 4: Apple posts release date and trailer
Apple announced today that its hit comedy-drama series “Ted Lasso” will return for a fourth season. The first episode will air on Wednesday, August 5, with new episodes every Wednesday thereafter until October 7.
“Ted Lasso” is one of the most popular series ever to appear on the streaming service Apple TV+. The main character, Ted Lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis, is an unsuccessful football coach from Kansas who – despite having no experience in football coaching – is hired as the coach of a professional football team in England.

In the fourth season, Lasso returns to England to face his biggest challenge yet, according to Apple: coaching a second-division women’s football team. “Over the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to act before they think and take risks they never imagined possible,” Apple said.
The third season aired in 2023, so the wait for a fourth season has been quite long. Since its debut in 2020, the series has won numerous prestigious awards and, thanks to its consistently positive tone, has become a popular feel-good show.
