OnePlus 16: Camera specs and AnTuTu benchmark test leaked

OnePlus has revealed the full camera specifications of its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 16. The smartphone is set to launch soon in China and will be powered by the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, which it has also used in a new AnTuTu benchmark test.
OnePlus 16 camera specs
The OnePlus 16 will feature a triple rear camera system, with the main sensor boasting a 200MP resolution, a 1/1.4-inch size, and an f/1.6 aperture. It will also include a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 116-degree field of view.

For selfies, the smartphone is equipped with a 50 MP front camera. The OnePlus 16 also benefits from Oppo’s Lumo image processor. OnePlus has already released several camera samples taken with the upcoming flagship.

The OnePlus 16 will be available in three colors and will feature a similar design to the OnePlus 15. It has also been confirmed that the smartphone will support a system-wide refresh rate of 165 Hz. Recent rumors also suggest that it will include a 9,000 mAh battery.
OnePlus 16 AnTuTu benchmark test
Aside from that, the AnTuTu team discovered a OnePlus device with the model number PYB110 in its benchmark test database. This prototype also featured the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, combined with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The smartphone also achieved a refresh rate of 185 Hz in the test (which likely only applies to certain games). Given these specifications, this is clearly the upcoming OnePlus 16.

As you can see from the image above, it scored 5,384,433 points in AnTuTu v12. It achieved a CPU score of 1,458,283, a GPU score of 2,010,584, a memory score of 766,362, and a UX score of 1,149,204.
Of course, this is only an initial test run with a prototype, so the figures should be taken with a grain of salt – but they are still impressive. The OnePlus smartphone will soon be released with ColorOS 17 based on Android 17. A recent certification has also confirmed support for 100-watt wired charging.
