Poco F9 Ultra appears in Geekbench test

The Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra appear to be coming soon, as evidenced by the numerous leaks of the past week. Now, the Ultra has apparently undergone a Geekbench 7 benchmark test, achieving a strong 2,980 points in the single-core test and 10,030 points in the multi-core test.

This impressive performance is no accident – under the hood, it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which in the specific prototype that ran the benchmark was paired with 16 GB of RAM. However, other storage options will most likely be available at launch.

The device runs Android 16 and, if it’s released in the next few weeks, could actually ship with this version, even though Android 17 has been available for some time. Xiaomi and its subsidiary brands Redmi and Poco aren’t known for quickly adopting new Android versions.

Rumors suggest the Poco F9 Ultra is a rebranded Redmi K100 Pro Max with a smaller 8,050 mAh battery. The other specifications are said to be identical, including the same 6.9-inch AMOLED display with 1200 x 2608 pixels, a 185 Hz refresh rate, and 4,500 nits peak brightness.
This would also include a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and five times optical zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32MP selfie camera.
