Lenovo Y700 Ultimate: Gaming tablet with record-breaking AnTuTu test results

Lenovo will unveil its new gaming tablet on August 25th. The company has now revealed the device’s AnTuTu benchmark score. And the answer is: an impressive 4,585,844 points. The tablet will be called the Lenovo Y700 Ultimate, Y700 Infinite, or Y700 Unlimited – the machine translation from Chinese isn’t particularly reliable in this case.

Either way, it appears to be based on the existing Y700, which was launched in March. However, the new model will feature integrated 5G mobile connectivity.

According to a new rumor, the battery capacity will also be reduced – from 9,000 mAh in the Y700 to 7,500 mAh, combined with a 68-watt fast charging function. This would be very disappointing, especially considering the many new smartphones with silicon-carbon batteries that have already reached or even exceeded this battery capacity. Moreover, battery reserves and the threat of CPU throttling can be the difference between victory and defeat in a gaming tablet.
Previous rumors suggested that the new Lenovo Y700 Ultimate, if it is indeed released under that name, will feature an 8.4-inch OLED display with 2.5K resolution and 2.89 mm narrow bezels. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The tablet is reportedly 6.5 mm thick, weighs 298 g, and already appeared in a video last month.
