The Samsung Galaxy A57 was released this week together with the Galaxy A37. Now, they are gradually appearing in initial tests, teardowns, and hands-on video reviews. The latest addition is a full teardown video for the A57 on the YouTube channel PBKreviews.

Disassembly is quite simple and begins with the usual steps: removing the SIM card tray and heating the glass back to loosen the adhesive. The main internal components are held in place by 18 Phillips head screws.

Removing a few more screws and connecting cables exposes the mainboard, which has the triple camera at one end and the chipset and other important components on the back.

The Samsung Galaxy A57 features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) in the center, a 12MP ultrawide camera at the top, and a 5MP macro camera at the bottom. The new Samsung Exynos 1680 chipset is also visible.

More importantly, the A57’s 5,000 mAh battery is held in place by an adhesive pouch, which significantly simplifies battery replacement. The vapor chamber of the Galaxy smartphones is located under the battery and is significantly larger than the one on the Galaxy A56, which should better control heat generation.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A57 achieved a very good repairability score of 9 out of 10 points in the teardown test.
