The vivo X300 Ultra will be unveiled in China on March 30th. So far, vivo has revealed key details about the smartphone’s rear camera and even showcased the teleconverter lenses, but has held back other technical specifications. Now, a new leak has revealed the device’s battery capacity and provided a view of the smartphone from all angles.

An insider has posted pictures of the vivo X300 Ultra on Weibo, including one that reveals important details such as the phone’s battery capacity and chipset.

According to the leak, the vivo X300 Ultra will be equipped with a 6,600 mAh battery, an increase of 600 mAh compared to its predecessor, the X200 Ultra.

The images also suggest that the vivo X300 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and vivo’s VS1 and V3+ imaging chips.

The first images show the X300 Ultra from various angles. The smartphone appears to have flat sides with slightly rounded edges, a flat display with narrow and uniform bezels, and a large, round camera module on the back. The back features a two-tone design, which matches the teaser recently released by vivo, showing the device in a green color variant.

vivo X300 Ultra-Video

Furthermore, vivo has released an interesting video in the style of “The Godfather” films. The video shown below was filmed entirely with the vivo X300 Ultra. The video clearly demonstrates that the smartphone can shoot 4K video at 120 frames per second across all focal lengths with Log support.

The vivo smartphone features the new film styles “Film Style” and “Film Look,” which, as the names suggest, are designed to recreate the aesthetics of classic films. These were used during the filming of this video.

The user interface for video recording has also been improved: a single tap takes you directly to Pro mode. It’s quite clear that vivo didn’t just intend to position the X300 Ultra as the best camera phone, but also as the best smartphone for video recording.

vivo X300s Geekbench test

Meanwhile, the vivo X300s has been discovered in the Geekbench database in a new benchmark test with the model number V2548A. The tested smartphone was powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and featured 16GB of RAM in the prototype that performed the benchmark. The smartphone will, of course, run Android 16 and the OriginOS 6 user interface from the outset.

As you can see from the screenshot above, the system achieved a single-core score of 3,310 and a multi-core score of 10,141 points in the Geekbench 6.6 test. Both are extremely high scores that can even rival the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The vivo X300s is supposed to bring along a fast 144 Hz AMOLED display and a gaming-oriented audio setup. It also features a 200 MP main camera and a 7,000 mAh battery.
