Build quality
The Samsung Galaxy S24 boasts high-quality construction, making it solid and durable. Gorilla Glass Victus 3 on the front and back ensures scratch resistance and longevity. The device is IP68 certified, making it water and dust resistant.
Display
The 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display boasts a high resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, enabling smooth animations and vibrant visuals. HDR10+ and a peak brightness of up to 2600 nits ensure brilliant colors and excellent readability, even in direct sunlight.
Performance
The Galaxy S24 is powered by the latest Exynos 2400 chipset and offers 8 GB of RAM. This combination delivers excellent performance, especially in graphics-intensive games or when multitasking. Apps launch quickly, and the smartphone operates smoothly.
Battery
The 4,000 mAh battery offers solid runtimes, even with intensive use. However, due to the 25W fast charging function, the battery takes a relatively long time to recharge. Wireless charging, at 15 watts, is even slower. For longer runtimes, the power-saving mode is recommended.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy S24 features a triple rear camera system: a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide camera, and a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Image quality in daylight is excellent, and the night mode delivers clear, detailed shots in low light. Videos can be recorded in 4K at 60 frames per second.
Conclusion
The Samsung Galaxy S24 impresses with its display, performance, and camera technology, and is aimed at users looking for a high-quality smartphone with compact dimensions. However, battery life could be a weak point with intensive use.
