• Reliable performance in everyday life

Build quality

The Honor 70 boasts first-class build quality. The materials used ensure durability and a comfortable feel in the hand. The device appears robust and well-made, without any visible defects or gaps.

Display

The 6.67-inch OLED display impresses with vibrant colors and a Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels). The 120 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth visuals, whether scrolling, gaming, or watching videos. Thanks to HDR10+ support, the display delivers brilliant contrast even in bright ambient light.

Performance

The Honor 70 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor, one of the fastest chipsets in the upper mid-range. It also features 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. This combination offers sufficient performance for everyday use, including multitasking and moderate gaming. The Magic UI 6.1 operating system, based on Android 12, is smooth and intuitive.

Battery

The 4,800 mAh battery easily lasts a full day with moderate use. With the 66-watt fast charging function, the device can be charged to 80% in about 45 minutes, which is ideal for users with limited time. However, wireless charging is not supported.

Camera

On the back, there’s a 54 MP main camera (Sony IMX800 sensor), a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The main camera delivers impressive images with high detail and vibrant colors, even in low light. The ultrawide camera is well-suited for both landscape shots and group photos. The 32 MP front camera ensures clear and detailed selfies.

Conclusion

The Honor 70 offers a strong overall package of design, performance, and camera quality. The main camera is particularly impressive, standing out in its price range. A few shortcomings, such as the lack of wireless charging and an IP rating, only slightly detract from the overall impression. All in all, it’s an excellent choice for users looking for a stylish smartphone with solid performance.
