The Honor 600 is a modern mid-range smartphone with a strong focus on camera, display, and battery life. It combines a bright AMOLED display, a large battery, and a high-resolution 200-megapixel main camera with a slim design. This makes it ideal for users looking for a practical smartphone with high-quality features, without having to jump straight to the flagship class.

Brief overview

• 6.75-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate
• Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor
• 8 or 12 GB RAM
• 128, 256, or 512 GB storage
• 200 MP main camera
• 12 MP ultrawide camera
• 50 MP front camera
• 6,400 mAh battery in Europe, up to 7,000 mAh internationally
• Android 16 with MagicOS 10
• IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection

Design

The Honor 600 boasts a slim and modern design with rounded edges and a premium back. Despite its large battery, the device remains relatively thin and comfortable to hold.

• Slim design, approximately 7.8 millimeters thick
• Weight, depending on the version, approximately 185 to 190 grams
• Matte back with a premium feel
• Narrow display bezels
• Discreet camera module with two rear cameras

• The combination of a slim design, large display, and relatively light weight makes the Honor 600 feel significantly more premium than one would expect in this class.

Build quality

• Build quality is one of the Honor 600’s strengths. The smartphone not only looks high-quality but is also built to last.

• Robust housing with precise workmanship
• Protection against water and dust according to IP68, IP69 and IP69K
• Sturdy back with a durable surface
• Good everyday usability against splashes of water, dust and heavier use
• Solid buttons and clean transitions

The high protection rating is a particularly important advantage in the mid-range segment, as it makes the device more resistant to everyday damage.

Display

The display is one of the most important highlights of the Honor 600. The AMOLED panel offers very high brightness, smooth display and vibrant colors.

• 6.75-inch AMOLED display
• 120 Hz refresh rate
• Very high peak brightness up to 8,000 nits
• HDR support
• 3,840 Hz PWM dimming
• Vibrant colors and deep blacks

• In everyday use, the display is ideal for videos, social media, gaming, and outdoor reading. The high refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling, while the high brightness is especially helpful in sunlight.

In everyday use, the display is very well suited for videos, social media, gaming, and reading outdoors.

Performance

With the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, the Honor 600 offers strong mid-range performance. While not intended as a pure gaming flagship, the device provides ample power for everyday use, multitasking, and more demanding apps.

• Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (4-nanometer process)
• Up to 12 GB RAM
• Up to 512 GB storage
• Smooth everyday operation
• Good efficiency for long battery life

In everyday life, this means

• Fast app launches
• Smooth multitasking
• Good performance for social media, navigation, and streaming
• Solid gaming performance with adjusted graphics settings

For average users, the Honor 600 offers more than enough performance. Only those who consistently demand maximum gaming performance should opt for a true high-end model.

Battery

The battery is one of the Honor 600’s greatest strengths. Depending on the market, the device comes with a particularly large battery, significantly exceeding the average of many smartphones.

• Very long battery life for everyday use
• Fast charging via cable
• Good energy efficiency thanks to a modern processor

Long usage times are easily achievable in everyday use. For many users, the Honor 600 should last a full day even with intensive use, and considerably longer with moderate use.

Camera

The camera setup is very strong for a mid-range phone. The 200-megapixel main camera, in particular, sets the Honor 600 apart from many competitors.

• 200 MP main camera with optical image stabilization
• 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera
• 50 MP front camera
• 4K video recording

The ultra-wide-angle camera is practical for landscapes, group photos, and architecture, but it doesn’t quite reach the level of the main camera.

In everyday use, the main camera delivers detailed photos with good dynamic range and vibrant colors.

Conclusion

The Honor 600 is a very well-equipped mid-range smartphone with a clear focus on display, camera, and battery life. The bright AMOLED display, the 200-megapixel main camera, and the large battery, in particular, make it an attractive choice for users who want a lot of smartphone for their money.
