Google is actively working on YouTube’s TV streaming feature called YouTube TV. The tech giant has introduced a number of new features over the past year and is now bringing the Multiview feature to mobile devices. However, not on all devices – initially only the Apple iPhone and the Apple iPad are supported.

Multiview isn’t entirely new to the platform, it’s been available on smart TVs for some time. Now a YouTube employee has confirmed the introduction of Multiview on iOS and iPadOS devices. Above you can see what the whole thing looks like on iOS.

In the same Reddit thread, the employee confirmed that Multiview will also be available for Android “in the coming months.” It’s worth noting that YouTube TV currently only works with selected sports channels. However, support for a larger selection of channels is most likely in the pipeline.
