Yesterday there was already some news about the Xiaomi Watch S3 and the Mix Flip, today another Xiaomi smartwatch was leaked. This time it’s about the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, which is expected to launch in Europe at the end of October with a retail price of around €400 ($428). Judging by the leaked renderings, in addition to various technology, you also get a pretty stylish design for your money.
The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro should have a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with support for always-on technology and some exclusive watch faces. There’s also a stainless steel case and even a rotating bezel like the new Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic. In addition to a Bluetooth module we also get 4G LTE connectivity, which suggests some parallels to the Watch S3. Xiaomi may also use different names for different markets. The Chinese do the same thing with their smartphones quite regularly.
One focus of the Xiaomi Watch S2 Pro is health tracking. Accordingly, a heart rate sensor, blood oxygen measurement (SpO2), sleep tracking, body composition analysis and various integrated sports modes are on board.
As you can see from the leaked images, there will be two color variants of the Xiaomi Watch S2 Pro. One version comes with a brown leather strap and the other with a black rubber strap. The housings have different surfaces for each version. The leather version has a stainless steel look, the black version has a gunmetal IP coating instead.
