Xiaomi had a pretty busy two days. In addition to the Pad 6 Max, the SmartBand 8 Pro and the Redmi K60 Ultra, the Chinese have also introduced the Redmi Pad SE today. The new Xiaomi tablet is also sold internationally at a price of only 199 euros. It is powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset (6 Nm) together with 128 GB of memory. There is also a MicroSD slot for up to 1 TB of additional storage. You get to choose between 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM.

The 11-inch LCD display has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. Redmi promises a brightness of 400 nits and a contrast of 1500:1. The Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE has even been certified by TÜV Rheinland for its low level of blue light.

On the front, the rather thin frame is noticeable, which accommodates the 5 megapixel selfie camera on the long side. On the back is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording. Xiaomi also installs “large-size quad speakers” with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio and a 3.5 mm headphone jack in the Redmi Pad SE.
Unfortunately, the 8,000 mAh battery only charges with a meager 10 watts via the USB-C port. You also get Android 13 with MIUI Pad 14, a 478g body, dual-frequency Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE is available in three colors: lavender purple, graphite gray and mint green. Prices start at 199 euros for the 4 GB version and climb to 229 euros for 6 GB and 249 euros for the 8 GB version. A protective cover in black or white is available as an accessory.
