Following Xiaomi’s usual pattern of releasing new Redmi Note models, the Redmi Note 13 series is expected to launch in China in the fall. Now there was an interesting rumor about the top model in the Chinese social network Weibo. According to several reports, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will have a design inspired by the Xiaomi 13. The appropriate schematic drawing also appeared at the same time.

The post was published by the usually reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, but has since been deleted. It fits that it is exactly the same sketch as in the last Xiaomi 14 leaks. It shows a flat display, a flat side frame and a camera module similar to the Xiaomi 13. The biggest difference will be the size, as the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has a 6.7-inch display, while the Xiaomi 13 is much more compact at 6.36 inches.
The Weibo post also revealed that the new Redmi will launch with the still unreleased MIUI 15 at launch. As usual with Xiaomi updates, this does not automatically mean that Android 14 is already running. Actually, we tend to bet on Android 13, since the cheapest Redmi Notes should not get the latest software as the first Xiaomi cell phones. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will not hit the global market before January next year. And at this point, Android 14 has been out for several months.
