Xiaomi today announced the Redmi Note 12T Pro, the latest smartphone in the Redmi Note series in China. The phone is the direct successor to last year’s Redmi Note 11T Pro. It is powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset that powers the Xiaomi Civi 3.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12T Pro is based on a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with a FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. There are three cameras on the back. This includes a 64-megapixel main camera for the wide range with a 1/1.72-inch sensor and 0.8 µm pixels. There is also an 8 megapixel ultra wide with a 120 degree field of view and a 2 megapixel macro camera.
The selfie camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels and shoots videos with up to 1080p at 60fps. The Note 12T Pro also comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a maximum of 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Power comes from a 5,080 mAh battery, which charges with a fast 67 watts via cable. Android 13 takes over the os part, which Xiaomi combines with its own MIUI 14 interface.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12T Pro will launch in black, white and blue colors. Details on pricing and availability of the Xiaomi phone will be announced in the coming days. However, the predecessor Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro has not yet made it out of China.
