Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultra with Dimensity 9200+ hits Geekbench

There were rumors back in March that the Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultra will have a Dimensity 9200 chipset under the hood. In fact, the successor Dimensity 9200+ seems to take over the drive. The Plus version features a Cortex-X3 core clocked at 3.35GHz, three 3.0GHz A715 cores, and four 2.0GHz A510 cores. For comparison, the regular version has clock speeds of 3.05, 3.0, and 1.8 GHz.

A new Geekbench 6.1.0 test for a device called Xiaomi 23078RKD5C shows exactly the frequencies of the Dimensity 9200+. This is most likely the Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultra. The motherboard is listed as “corot”, just like with the upcoming Xiaomi 13T Pro. This confirms previous rumors that the K60 Ultra will come to international markets as the 13T Pro.

The tested Redmi K60 Ultra ran Android 13 and 16 GB of RAM. But we should also get a base version with 12 GB RAM. As you can see in the second picture, there are several results with very different single and multi-core values. Therefore, the software is probably far from ready for release.

The Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The battery capacity should be 5,000 or 5,500 mAh and the device recently completed a certification for 120 watt fast charging.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Max to get 14-inch display

In addition to the Redmi K60 Ultra, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max and the Redmi Pad 2 are also in the starting blocks. According to a new tip, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max deserves its name as Xiaomi’s first 14-inch tablet. That would be significantly larger than the 11-inch display of the Xiaomi Pad 6 (2880×1800 pixels). As with the Pro version, the Pad 6 Max will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset at the helm.

The rest of the technical data should also be more or less the same. That means a 144Hz IPS LCD display with pen support, a 50MP main camera and a 20MP front camera. There are also four speakers and a large, fast-charging battery – larger than the 8,840mAh of the regular Pad 6, at least. The Pro model isn’t sold outside of China though, so the Max could face a similar fate.
