The Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro will be officially launched for the Indian market on February 6th at 17:30 local time. The information comes directly from Poco India via the company’s official Twitter account. There is not only an official picture, but also a matching video, both of which confirm the photos leaked last week and yesterday.

The star of the show, aside from the Poco smartphone itself, of course, is Hardik Pandya, a very popular Indian cricketer. Pandya already had a Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro on his ear about two weeks ago when he appeared to be answering a call on the still unreleased smartphone in a teaser image.

In addition, Xiaomi has published a short video about the Poco X5 Pro. Three color options of black, blue and Poco yellow are visible and you can also see the punchhole display and the three cameras on the back. Also the most important specs are confirmed. These include an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a fast Snapdragon 778G chipset and a 108-megapixel main camera. According to the previous leaks, there is also 6/128 GB or 8/256 GB of memory, an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens, a 2 megapixel macro camera and a 16 megapixel front camera. The size of the display should be 6.67 inches and the resolution 1,080 x 2,400 pixels.

The Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro is said to have a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging. Wireless charging is not on board. According to previous rumors, Android 12 is still running as the operating system. But at least with MIUI 14 as the interface. In a week at the latest, the rest of the specifications will come to light.
