Poco India has already officially announced that the Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro will be launched on February 6th. There was no talk of the normal Poco X5, which according to a new leak was no coincidence. Instead of India, the X5 starts in Europe. This of course raises the question of whether the X5 Pro will go the opposite way or will also be sold in Europe. Since new leaks are appearing almost every day, we’ll have the answer sooner rather than later.
Regardless, the Xiaomi Poco X5 has just appeared on Twitter with the most important technical data. The images look like typical marketing material that the tipster ran through Google Translate. According to this, the Poco smartphone will come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The display refresh rate is 120 Hz with a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. The panel is Low Blue Light certified and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space.
The Xiaomi Poco X5 also has a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, a 13-megapixel camera snaps selfies. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and charges with a cable with 33 watts. A 5G-capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset takes over the drive.
