The Poco M6 series currently consists of the M6 5G, the Poco M6 Pro and the M6 Pro 5G. We’ve also heard a lot recently about an upcoming M6 Plus. Now there’s another model in the mix and Xiaomi is already heavily promoting it: The Poco M6 4G will be presented worldwide on June 11th as part of an online event. The information comes directly from Poco’s global X account.

According to the teasers, the Xiaomi Poco M6 4G will have a “108MP pro-grade camera” and fast wired charging with 33 watts. The introductory prices are $129 (€119) with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and $149 (€138) with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Xiaomi itself calls the upcoming Poco smartphone an “Entertainment Magician”, whatever that means specifically.

The design seems to be a mix of the Poco M6 Pro and the Poco F6. It’s also not dissimilar to the Redmi 13, which was officially launched earlier this month. The camera positioning seems to be identical, but of course there is Poco branding on the back. If it is indeed a rebranded Redmi 13, then a 6.79-inch LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 550 nits of peak brightness awaits. In addition to the 108-megapixel main camera, there is also a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. As well as a 5,030 mAh battery. Android 14 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface goes without saying.

In addition, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor in the power button and three color options – black, purple and white. A 5G modem, on the other hand, does not seem to be built in.
