Xiaomi’s next flagship killers are about to launch – the upcoming Poco F6 Pro appeared in the FCC database as it has received the necessary certification from this US agency. Accordingly, the Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery, which is most likely the typical advertised capacity. The certified nominal capacity is 4,880 mAh.

In addition, the FCC also reveals the model number of the Xiaomi smartphone. This strongly suggests that the Poco F6 Pro is a renamed Redmi K70. The F6 Pro has the model code 23113RKC6G with a “G” like global at the end, the Redmi K70 has 23113RKC6C with a “C” like China.

Xiaomi introduced the K70 for the Chinese market back in November with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The non-Pro Xiaomi Poco F6 should be a renamed Redmi Turbo 3. Therefore, it will be interesting to compare their performance when they eventually hit the market. The base model will get a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which should be able to at least keep up with the 8 Gen 2.

In addition, the Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro will bring a 6.67-inch 1,440 x 3,200 pixel OLED display at 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. You can configure 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. There is also a triple camera system with a 50 megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8 megapixel ultra wide shooter and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels. You get an in-display fingerprint sensor and support for fast 120-watt wired charging. As an operating system, Android 14 with Xiaomi’s new HyperOS 1.0 interface is a safe bet.
