Xiaomi will very soon open the next software chapter with its upcoming HyperOS interface. Instead of MIUI 15, we will see the Chinese company’s new operating system live for the first time on the Xiaomi 14 series. Several users of the Chinese social media platform Weibo have apparently already had a first look at HyperOS and have shared screenshots of the new user interface.
Xiaomi HyperOS will offer many more lock screen customization options other than those shown here. There will be new template types, clock, font and widget options, as well as even more granular ways to customize home screens and backgrounds. The Control Center looks slimmer in the screenshots compared to MIUI 14. However, the app icons are similar to the current MIUI 14 ones.
But that could also be because the images posted apparently show very early beta versions of the new operating system. Accordingly, Xiaomi could possibly adjust the design of various elements before the final release of the finished version. The Xiaomi 14 series with HyperOS is rumored to launch on October 27, which is currently just over a week away. The global launch for all eligible devices is reportedly planned for early 2024. We are already very excited to see which Xiaomi smartphones will get the HyperOS update.
