A few days ago, a Geekbench test of the Redmi K60 Ultra appeared, which should later come to us as the Xiaomi 13T Pro. The test showed that the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Xiaomi has now officially confirmed the processor and published an AnTuTu benchmark and some other technical data. According to this, the Redmi K60 Ultra / 13T Pro with the 9200+ managed no less than 1,774,714 points on AnTuTu.

This means that the AnTuTu record falls again, which the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro broke just yesterday with the big competitor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. However, the 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy versions are still missing here, which are adapted Samsung versions with slightly higher clock rates. In addition, the 8 Gen 2+ version is already in the starting blocks and has already been installed in the first gaming phone, the nubia Red Magic 8S Pro. The AnTuTu team hasn’t shared the points breakdown yet, but posted photos from a Redmi K60 Ultra / Xiaomi 13T Pro presentation.

Accordingly, a new PixelWorks X7 image processor will be used in the Xiaomi 13T Pro / Redmi K60 Ultra in addition to the Dimensity 9200+. The X7 runs a new image processing algorithm developed by Xiaomi itself. Previous variants of the X7 were already used in the OnePlus 11, the Realme GT2 Explorer Master and the Honor Magic5 Pro. It features low-latency frame interpolation. This can double, triple or even quadruple the frame rate with a latency of less than 10 ms. Up to 180 Hz with FHD+ and 144 Hz with a WQHD+ resolution are possible.

Redmi K60 Ultra, Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, Pad 6 Max and Redmi Pad 2 to hit the stage

The Redmi K60 Ultra will be presented at a major event in a few days. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, the Pad 6 Max and the Redmi Pad 2 will also be on stage. Subsequently, the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro are expected to be presented to the global market on September 1st.

According to previous rumors, the Xiaomi 13T Pro / Redmi K60 Ultra will launch with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 144Hz. In addition to the Dimensity 9200+, 12/16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB/512 GB/1 TB UFS 4.0 storage should also be on board. A 5,000 mAh battery with 120 watt quick charge also haunts the rumor mill. The Pro should cost £799 (€925), while the base model might be cheaper at £599 (€694).
