The long-awaited Xiaomi 14 Ultra goes official in China tomorrow and on sale worldwide on February 25th at MWC Barcelona. We now have a few more details on the most hyped aspect of the device – its cameras. Xiaomi has shared a series of teasers and camera samples of the 14 Ultra. They confirm most of the leaked specs from the last few months. The 50-megapixel main camera is based on a Sony LYT-900 sensor with a variable aperture from f/1.63 to f/4.0. According to Xiaomi, the light intensity is 136% higher compared to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

The main camera of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is joined by two telephoto lenses with Sony IMX858 sensors. The first is a 75mm lens with an f/1.8 aperture and a 3.2x optical zoom. The second has a focal length of 120mm (5x optical zoom) paired with an aperture of f/2.5. We also get a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a focal length of 12mm and a field of view of 122 degrees.

Xiaomi also shared a number of camera samples of the four cameras, giving us a taste of what to expect. At first glance the images look pretty good.

Additionally, another leak has revealed a new color option – a blue Xiaomi 14 Ultra with a matte finish. There is also a color-coordinated frame and supposedly a ceramic coating on the back. In contrast, the white and black versions appear to have a vegan leather back just like last year’s Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

Based on the latest leak, the Xiaomi phone will have a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a 1440p resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In addition to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, there is also 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage on board.
