With the Xiaomi 13 series already available around the world for months, it’s time to turn our attention to the next generation of Xiaomi flagships. The first Xiaomi 14 Series specs are here thanks to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station. This includes some preliminary specifications in terms of chipsets, batteries and charging speeds.
The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will most likely launch in November with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Qualcomm’s flagship next-generation processor will be unveiled at a special event in Maui, Hawaii in late October. Xiaomi will be one of the first smartphone brands to launch devices with the new chipset.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 should feature a new 1+5+2 core architecture with a Cortex-X4 Prime core along with five Cortex-A720 cores and two Cortex-A520 cores. An Adreno 750 will probably take over the GPU part and offer some noticeable performance increases.
The Xiaomi 14 is said to have a 4,860 mAh battery that charges with a fast 90 watts via cable and 50 watts without. The 14 Pro has a slightly larger 5,000 mAh cell. It should also charge wirelessly with 50 watts and with a cable with a fast 120 watts.
