According to a new rumor, the Xiaomi 14 series will arrive in early November this year instead of during December. The source is well-known Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, who expects it to start before November 11th (or 11/11) – China’s hugely popular Singles’ Day sale.

The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro launched on December 14th. According to the source, the popularity of the 13 series is the main reason Xiaomi wants to announce the 14 series earlier. According to reports, the 13 series reached its sales targets in just 9 months.
However, there is one important requirement for the Xiaomi 14 series to launch – Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset must already be available. Qualcomm is currently planning an event for October 24th, which would fit the time frame of today’s leak. So the 14 series would probably be the first to get the new chipset.
As far as specs go, the Xiaomi phones are likely to come with a larger main camera sensor. A 1/1.28 inch chip with a resolution of 50 megapixels is under discussion. There should also be a version with 1 TB of storage. The Xiaomi 14 will have a 4,860mAh battery with 90W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. The 14 Pro is said to have a 5,000 mAh battery that charges 120 watts via cable and 50 watts wirelessly.
