Xiaomi is currently clearing the last legal hurdles that are still on the to-do list shortly before the launch of the Xiaomi 14 series. The Pro member of the range has just been certified by the Chinese 3C authority. The smartphone with model number 23116PN5BC, like two of its predecessors, supports wired charging with a fast 120 watts.

Appearing at the 3C (Chinese Compulsory Certification) means that the Xiaomi phone has passed the mandatory tests. The new smartphone thus takes a further step towards market availability. It is already known that the Xiaomi 14 will charge at a fast 90 watts. This is an upgrade over the Xiaomi 13, which only charges with 67 watts. The Xiaomi 13 Pro, on the other hand, also filled its battery with 120 watts.
The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to launch in November. That would be a few days after Qualcomm unveiled its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset on October 24th. In China, November 11th is a big shopping holiday called Singles’ Day. Xiaomi could use this day to launch its new flagships.
The international market launch, on the other hand, is likely to take at least a few more weeks. The 13 Series took over two months to transition from local to global. The Xiaomi 14 models could need a similar amount of time. On the other hand, the Chinese would miss the Christmas shopping season by a few weeks, which doesn’t seem likely.
