Xiaomi 13T Pro / Redmi K60 Ultra with Dimensity 9200+ chip is here

Xiaomi announced the Redmi K60 series last December with three models – the Redmi K60, the Redmi K60E and the Redmi K60 Pro. Today the flagship of the series is finally here: The Redmi K60 Ultra, which should start worldwide as the Xiaomi 13T Pro. It’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, runs MIUI 14 and packs up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. There is also a 6.67-inch, 12-bit display with a 1.5K resolution (2,712 x 1,220 pixels). You get a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, and 2,880 Hz PWM dimming.

The display has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 480 Hz. Xiaomi’s own X7 graphics chip helps with interpolation, just like with high frame rates in games. However, Xiaomi has not mentioned whether the screen is an LCD or an OLED panel. But since the Redmi K60 Ultra has an in-display fingerprint sensor, it can only be an OLED display. It also covers the DCI-P3 color space and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content.

On the back is a camera module with three cameras. The main 54-megapixel Sony IMX800 camera (effective 50 MP) features OIS and shoots HDR10+ videos at 8K resolution. There is also an 8 megapixel ultra wide cam and a 2 megapixel macro camera. Xiaomi calls the module a metal dome DECO design because the sides are extended downwards. For selfies and video calls you get a 20 megapixel front camera.

The 5,000 mAh battery charges to 100% in 19 minutes with the included 120 watt charger. The whole thing is monitored by the Xiaomi-developed Surge P1 charging chip together with the G1 chip for battery management. Other highlights of the Redmi K60 Ultra include 5G connectivity, a USB-C port, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC. It is also equipped with a 5,000 mm² stainless steel VC cooling system. There are also stereo speakers, dual-band GPS with NavIC and, for the first time in a Redmi smartphone, protection against water and dust according to the IP68 standard.

Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultra prices

The Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultra comes in Black, Green and White colors with five storage options: 12/256GB, 16/256GB, 16/512GB, 16GB/1TB and 24GB/1TB. Prices start at 2,599 CNY (€325/$355) and climb through 2,799 CNY (€350/$385), 2,999 CNY (€375/$410) and 3,299 CNY (€415/$450) up to 3,599 CNY ( €450/$495).
