In addition to the Xiaomi 13T series, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro and Smart Band 8 were also presented at an event in Berlin, Germany, today. The Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro are based on the Redmi K60 Ultra, which is only available in China. Key differences are the better cameras and an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, which is a first for the T series.

Xiaomi 13T

The Xiaomi 13T has a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, which is manufactured using a 4nm process. This is essentially a normal Dimensity 8200 with some optimizations developed in collaboration with Xiaomi. There are also 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The 6.67-inch OLED display has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, Full HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.

The 50 megapixel main camera of the Xiaomi 13T is based on a 1/1.28 inch sensor with 1.22 μm individual pixels. In addition to a bright f/1.9 aperture, there is also optical image stabilization on board. The portrait telephoto camera with 50 mm focal length also has a resolution of 50 megapixels and an f/1.9 aperture. The third camera is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with a 15mm f/2.2 lens.

As with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the collaboration with Leica also brings several high-end filters to the new 13T series. This includes the Leica Authentic Look, which aims for realistic color reproduction, and the Leica Vibrant Look for more funk in your photos. The 13 Ultra’s custom photo styles are available in Pro mode. Finally, there is a 20 megapixel selfie camera in a central punch hole, for which Xiaomi unfortunately once again foregoes autofocus.

The 5,000 mAh battery supports wired charging with 67 watts, while the predecessor Xiaomi 12T accelerated up to 120 watts. This means the battery is back to 100% in 42 minutes. The Xiaomi phone is available in three colors: Meadow Green and Black have a glass panel on the back. Alpine Blue comes with a BioComfort surface made of vegan leather. Prices start at 649 euros for the 8/256 GB version.

Xiaomi 13T Pro

The Xiaomi 13T Pro features the same 6.67-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz as the base version. However, the more powerful Dimensity 9200+ chipset takes over the drive. The triple camera on the back and the selfie camera in the display are identical.

The RAM is 12 or 16 GB and is based on the faster LPDDR5X type. The storage also uses the currently fastest UFS 4.0 standard. There are three options – 256GB, 512GB or 1TB. Another big difference is the charging speed. The Xiaomi 13T Pro fully charges its 5,000 mAh battery with 120 watt HyperCharge in just 19 minutes.

Both the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro have dual speakers and support Dolby Atmos audio. They boot Android 13 with MIUI 14 as the interface. The 13T Pro is offered in the same colors of Green, Black and Vegan Leather Blue. The starting price is 799 euros, but you already get 12/256 GB of storage.
