Xiaomi’s new 13T series will be officially launched next week Tuesday, September 26th. The smartphones have been circulating through the rumor mill for months. The latest leak once again concerns prices and brings good news – the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro will be significantly cheaper than the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro. According to popular tipster Ishan Agarwal, the Xiaomi 13T with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will cost €650/£550, while the 13T Pro with 12/256GB is priced at €800/£650. You can pay a maximum of €1,000 for the top model with 16 GB/1 TB.

For comparison: The Xiaomi 13 with 8/256 GB cost €1,000 in Europe at launch. The Xiaomi 13 Pro started at €1,300 for a 12/256 GB model. The prices shared by Agarwal therefore sound plausible and are in line with the costs at the first retailer and from another leak. There are differences of a few euros, but this is due to the different VAT rates within the EU.
Xiaomi itself, however, has so far only confirmed that the 13T duo will receive premium software support. Just like Samsung and OnePlus, the smartphone comes with four operating system updates and five years of security patches. At least when it comes to the manufacturers’ top smartphones.
The Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro also feature 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1,220 x 2,712 pixels. In addition to a 50-megapixel main camera, there is also a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 50 mm focal length and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, a 20 megapixel punchhole camera takes selfies.
The battery capacity of both models is 5,000 mAh. The Pro model gets the faster Dimensity 9200+ chipset and charges at a fast 120 watts. The basic model instead has the Dimensity 8200 Ultra and, at 67 watts, still charges faster than some well-known competitors. Next Tuesday at the latest, all details will be revealed at the official presentation of the Xiaomi 13T series.
