Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro: Leica cameras and 120W charging

The launch of the Xiaomi 13T series is fast approaching and today a new leak brings us detailed specs for the 13T and 13T Pro.

The launch of the Xiaomi 13T series is fast approaching and today a new leak brings us detailed specs for both Xiaomi smartphones. Both the 13T and 13T Pro will feature 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with a 144Hz refresh rate. The Pro model should bring a “flagship 4nm SoC” which could be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. A “leading 4nm SoC” is planned for the 13T – rumored to be a Dimensity 9200 processor from MediaTek.

Both Xiaomi 13T models will get Leica cameras, but the leak doesn’t go into details about the sensors used. Typically, Xiaomi will install a high-resolution main camera, an ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera in the T-series. The Xiaomi 13T will launch with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the 13T Pro will have 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Both smartphones start with Xiaomi’s current MIUI 14 interface based on Android 13. The batteries deliver 5,000 mAh and charge with 67 watts in the 13T and 120 watts in the 13T Pro.

The Xiaomi 13T series should launch on September 1st. The 13T will start at £599 (€696/$762), while the 13T Pro will reportedly cost £799 (€929/$1,016). The appropriate chargers should be part of the scope of delivery. In China, the Xiaomi 13T Pro is expected to be launched as the Redmi K60 Ultra.
