The long-awaited Xiaomi 13 Ultra is finally set to launch tomorrow. Only one day before the big event, there are finally official images directly from Xiaomi of the new camera flagship. The official Xiaomi Weibo handle has shared detailed images of the smartphone that confirm the renders that appeared previously with the large camera module.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature a metal alloy body with a new second generation faux leather layer. The new leather-like material on the back has an antibacterial coating and is also dirt-repellent. It also has a special anti-yellowing coating. The faux leather part protrudes slightly near the camera module, with the combined thickness reportedly reaching 15.6mm.
The top and bottom of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra are tapered just like a traditional camera. This is to ensure a more comfortable grip when using the Xiaomi smartphone in landscape mode. The large camera module accommodates four Sony 50 megapixel sensors. There are three IMX858 sensors for the ultra wide and the two telephoto cameras and a 1-inch IMX989 under the main camera. According to the last teaser, there is also a 67mm filter adapter for the entire camera island.
In addition, Xiaomi also shared some specifications on the 13 Ultra’s LTPO OLED display, which the Chinese developed together with display specialist China Star. The C7 panel offers a resolution of 1,440 x 3,200 pixels and a maximum peak brightness of a whopping 2,600 nits for HDR content.
