According to a report from last Thursday, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will cost €1,499 ($1,602) in Europe. Now the first reports to the contrary are coming. Dutch retailer Belsimpel and its German subsidiary Gomibo are offering the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone for €1,299 ($1,387) in the Netherlands, €1,277 in Germany and €1,320 in Ireland. It is the EU model and delivery takes 5 to 7 working days.

The new price is a lot more competitive, especially considering the 12/512 GB model comes with a 90W charger, cable and protective case in the box. It’s also the first true Xiaomi flagship with official international availability since the Mi 11 Ultra. In terms of RRPs, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is even significantly cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (€1,460 in the same configuration) and the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max (€1,696 with 512 GB).
