The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro were launched in China last year. So it’s about time: The two flagships celebrated their international debut together with the new Xiaomi 13 Lite today at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The base model has a 6.36-inch display with FullHD+ resolution and up to 1,900 nits of maximum brightness. There is also a 50 megapixel main camera with OIS, a 12 megapixel ultra wide and a 3x telephoto camera with a 10 megapixel sensor and OIS. The camera setup was developed together with optics specialist Leica.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 13 Pro inherits the display from the Xiaomi 12 Pro – a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1440p. In addition, the display has a color temperature sensor that adjusts the color temperature according to the environment.
Leading the rear camera trio is a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS, the mighty Sony IMX989. The 50 megapixel ultra wide offers macro support thanks to autofocus and the 10 megapixel telephoto camera has triple optical zoom and also optical image stabilization.
