The time has finally come: The Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 12T are now receiving the MIUI 14 global update based on Android 14. The update comes wirelessly as an OTA download and has a size of 5.5 GB. The Android security patch from September 2023 is also on board.
The version numbers for the Xiaomi 13 update are MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMCMIXM and MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMCEUXM. The Xiaomi 13 Pro gets the firmware versions MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMBMIXM and MIUI-V14 .0.5.0.UMBEUXM and the updates MIUI-V14.0.6.0.ULQMIXM and MIUI-V14 are waiting for the Xiaomi 12T. 0.5.0.ULQEUXM.
The new MIUI versions based on Android 14 have been available as beta versions for several Xiaomi phones for a few weeks. With the launch of the Google Pixel 8 series, the latest operating system is now finally officially completed and available. However, the new software may still contain some errors. In such cases, you can give feedback to the developers. Or, in the worst case, switch back to the last stable version of Android 13.
