The vivo X90 series is set to launch on November 22nd, and thanks to a new Geekbench test, there are now more details on the base model. The tested vivo X90 with the model code V2241A had the new MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset and 12 GB of RAM under the hood.

The X90 managed an impressive single-core score of 1,353 points and 4,055 points in the multi-core department. These results fall a bit short of the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 devices that have popped up on Geekbench so far. The vivo X90 Pro+ achieved 1,485 and 4,739 points with the next Qualcomm processor. However, all of these devices are pre-production models, so final results will likely differ.

X90 on Geekbench
The new Geekbench run also confirms that the X90 runs Android 13, presumably with OriginOS for Chinese devices and Funtouch OS for global models. The new vivo V2 image sensor and Sony’s 1-inch IMX989 camera sensor are also in the starting blocks.
First vivo X90 live images
Vivo has already sent test devices to media representatives in China. Photos shared on Weibo show the X90’s back design and color options. There are three different versions. The red model has a faux leather back, just like the X Fold+. The black has a matte finish on the base model and leather on the Pro+, while the blue device has a glossier finish.

The vivo X90 Pro+ will have four cameras in a circular camera module. Directly below is a metallic banner that reads “Xtreme Imagination”.
