The vivo X90 series was launched in China in November 2022. Today, the company is bringing two of the smartphones to the international stage – the vivo X90 with a Dimensity 9200 chipset and the vivo X90 Pro are now available worldwide. The X90 Pro+ isn’t leaving China for now and it’s unclear if that will change at all.



The X90 and X90 Pro share the same 6.78-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 1260p resolution. Both models charge with a cable with up to 120 watts. vivo developed the cameras together with optics specialist Zeiss. Added to this is vivo’s own V2 ISP image processor, which enables Super Night videos in 4K and AI Night View modes. With the former, you can record videos in very low light. AI Night View, on the other hand, offers staggering of up to 10 RAW images including HDR.
The vivo X90 has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, and a 12-megapixel 2x telephoto camera. The X90 Pro has a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor under the 50-megapixel main camera. There’s also a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto camera.
So far there are no details on the prices of the vivo smartphones. So far we only know that the vivo X90 will launch in black and blue in Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Thailand and Malaysia. The Pro model vivo only sells in Legendary Black, which has a leather-like finish on the back. The available markets are Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Malaysia in Asia, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece and Serbia.
