The vivo X100 series will arrive shortly after the matching chipset was unveiled on November 6th. We’re talking about the new flagship processor MediaTek Dimensity 9300. The series will include the regular X100 and the X100 Pro, while the X100 Pro+ will follow in early 2024. A vivo smartphone with the model code V2309A has now appeared in the AnTuTu benchmark test. In addition to the Dimensity 9300, it also had 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage and Android 14 on board.

The smartphone achieved an extremely high score of 2,249,858 points in the test. The score consists of a CPU score of 518,632, a GPU score of 918,790, a memory score of 474,036 and a UX score of 338,400. If these numbers are confirmed, the MediaTek chip would even leave its big rival Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 behind.

Rumor has it that both the vivo X100 and X100 Pro will feature the Dimensity 9300. Strangely enough, a vivo V2324A with an older Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip from 2021 also appeared on Geekbench. This is supposedly the X100 Pro. That would fit 12 GB of RAM and Android 14, but hardly the Adreno 730 GPU of the 8 Gen 1. It could therefore be either a changed chipset name or a changed device name.

Meanwhile, vivo’s Boxiao Han introduced a new Zeiss Vario APO Sonnar lens for the X100 Pro’s periscope camera. The periscope should be the first lens to work with the new third generation of vivo’s own image algorithm. It also has a large aperture and macro functions. This means that the image quality should be significantly better than the X90 Pro+.

Finally, tipster Digital Chat Station reiterated on Weibo that the design he shared back in August (see above) shows the vivo X100 Pro.
