vivo finally seems to be bringing its foldables to the international market: The vivo X Fold 3 Pro has been certified in Indonesia.

It might finally be time for Vivo to launch its foldables outside of China. After several generations, all confined to the homeland, it now looks like vivo is slowly changing its mind. The vivo X Fold 3 Pro, which has just been introduced, should give the starting signal.

However, vivo itself has not yet commented on the matter. Instead, the X Fold 3 Pro has now been certified in Indonesia. This is a common step before sales begin in the country. It is therefore reasonable to assume that vivo is finally venturing into countries other than China with its foldables.

It would definitely be a welcome competitor to devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and later this year the Galaxy Z Fold6. The vivo X Fold 3 Pro is definitely well equipped for this. In addition to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, there is also up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage on board. You also get a camera system with a 50 megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50 megapixel ultra-wide angle with autofocus and a 64 megapixel 3x periscope telephoto lens.

There are also two 32 megapixel selfie cameras and a large 5,700 mAh battery on board. The latter charges via cable with 100 watts and wirelessly with 50 watts. Nevertheless, the case only measures 11.2 mm when folded and 5.2 mm when unfolded. The weight is 236 g.
